Does this estee lauder product really work? Skintone Illuminator?

Does the Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator from estee lauder really work? Was it worth the money? I want it to clear away my acne scars and give me a more even skin tone. In your experience did the product do its job?|||go to Makeupalley.com for reviews|||Ive been using it religiosly for a month to five weeks and have had little or no improvement and now reading other posts figured out thats why i'm breaking out. I purchased very hopefully the larger $85 bottle and will be returning it.
